Maundy Thursday - April 2

6:30 p.m. - Come for supper ($6 suggested donation). "Poured out for many."  Follow Jesus through the Last Supper, foot (and hand) washing and prayer.

 

Good Friday - April 3

  10:00 a.m. - Follow Jesus to the cross. Service includes communion.

 

Easter Sunday - April 5

  8:00 - Potluck breakfast. Bring hard boiled eggs, Easter breads, fruit, and your own table service.

  9:45 - Celebrate Jesusí resurrection! Scripture: John 20:1-18, Isaiah 25:6-9. Sermon: We have waited for this.

  Preacher: Pastor Ilene Bergen. Bring flowers for the sanctuary. No lilies please.  

   No Christian Education hour.

April 11 (Sat.) 8:30 a.m. - Peace & Justice Breakfast.

April 12 (Sun.) 11 a.m. - Adult and Youth Christian Education: Each Of Us Matters to God. Tana Nash, executive director of Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council (WRSPC) will speak to us on the role of Faith Communities and Suicide Prevention. After the suicides of her grandmother in 1987 her only sister in 2006, her key focus has gone into advocacy for increased and better services, connecting to the community and breaking down the stigma surrounding suicide.

April 19 (Sun.) Noon - "Guess Who Is Coming to Dinner" event.

April 20-23 (Mon.-Thurs.) - Church Photo Directory pictures will be taken. More details coming soon.
