Notices 1. A prayer newsletter from Stefan, Pascale & Elijah Cherry, church planters in Ottawa, is posted on the bulletin board in the upper lobby.
2. Mennonite Central Committee "To Remember Is To Work For Peace" buttons are available on a table in the main hall. Wear one during this week of remembrance then return it to be used again next year.
3. The Christian Academics committee welcomes students enrolled or considering enrolling in Mennonite schools to apply for tuition assistance from our Spending Plan. This application is for school attendance during 2010, either the January - June term coming up, or the fall term beginning next September. Remember, our congregation supports church schools and recognizes their importance in Christian education, preparing people for using their gifts in all areas of life and in the mission of the church. Application forms and information regarding this financial aid are available from Susan Seyler, and must be returned by November 15th , latest. Please ask Susan at church, or call her at home.
4. The church photography committee would like copies of your pictures of church activities. Please bring them in on a memory stick or cd to Steve Kennel, Jeff Miller or Mike Gingerich.
5. November is Family Violence Prevention Month . For information or support, call Karen at Wilmot Family Resource Centre (519.662.2731) or Wellesley Township Community Health Centre (519.656.9028 ext 230.)
6. Do you parents sometimes feel like you need a Time-Out? Steinmann is starting a new group for parents of young children where you will be able to meet for coffee, fellowship, devotions and sharing. Child care will be provided, so it will be a fun time for your children as well. The group is planning to meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the morning, starting in December. We are also in need of people of any age or stage of life who would be willing to take the occasional Tuesday morning out of their schedule to play with busy little toddlers, snuggle precious babies and generally keep the children occupied while their parents meet. If you are interested either in coming or helping with child care, please contact Pastor Myrna, Holly Leis, Joanne Schwartzentruber or Krista Fortin or sign up on the sheet in the lobby.

Congregational Spending Plan Update Our offerings to date are $399,375. In order to meet our 2009 approved spending plan we need $160,493. To meet our commitment, $20,062 is needed per Sunday for the remainder of this year. Please continue to be generous, as we need to consider our 2009 expenses.
